This indicates that the iteration speed of China’s basic large models has accelerated, and they are rapidly penetrating and being implemented in industries such as electronics, raw materials, and consumer goods.
The 56th Report of the China Internet Network Information Center confirms this trend: In the first half of 2025, China’s generative artificial intelligence has made all-round progress in both technology and application, with a rapid growth in the number of products and a continuous expansion of application scenarios.
From the user perspective, as of June, the proportion of users using generative AI products to answer questions was the highest, reaching 80.9%. From the industry perspective, the scale of China’s artificial intelligence industry exceeded 700 billion yuan in 2024, maintaining a growth rate of over 20% for consecutive years.
Domestic AI products have been deeply integrated into scenarios such as office collaboration, inclusive education, industrial design, and content creation, building an intelligent application ecosystem covering multiple fields.

Among them, DeepSeek had over 30 million global daily active users within 20 days of its launch, becoming the generative AI application with the fastest user growth rate in the world. In addition, China has become the world’s largest holder of artificial intelligence patents, accounting for 60%.
