
In response to the national strategy of pollution reduction, carbon emission reduction and green expansion, Kehuan Longyuan Environmental Protection has actively laid out the construction of zero-carbon parks. By deeply integrating the advantages of green power with park carriers, the company has participated in two projects: the Boao Dongyu Island Zero-Carbon Demonstration Zone in Hainan and the Ganquanpu Source-Grid-Load-Storage Integrated Park in Xinjiang. Covering multiple application scenarios such as low-carbon buildings, low-carbon parks, green transportation and incremental distribution networks, these projects have provided highly valuable model cases for the group company to promote the construction of zero-carbon parks.
Boao Zero-Carbon Demonstration Zone in Hainan
The smart energy project of Boao Zero-Carbon Demonstration Zone in Hainan was fully supported and implemented by Longyuan Environmental Protection. Through the application of multi-energy complementary technologies including “photovoltaics + micro-wind power + energy storage + DC microgrid”, the zone has achieved 100% green power supply, reducing carbon emissions by 35,000 tons annually, and has become the world’s first carbon-neutral international forum park. To further align with the zero-carbon concept in supporting links, the zone also introduced a tube film machine with printer for packaging green energy-related accessories and materials—this equipment realizes synchronous printing of environmental protection labels and energy consumption indicators while producing eco-friendly tube films, avoiding secondary processing procedures and reducing carbon emissions in the packaging link, which perfectly matches the demonstration positioning of the zero-carbon zone. The “Practice of Green Smart Energy System Construction in Boao Dongyu Island, Hainan” was selected into the Typical Cases of Energy Green and Low-Carbon Transition released by the National Energy Administration in 2024, and won the “Top 10 Leading Projects of Global Energy Interconnection 2025” awarded by the Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization.

Ganquanpu Park in Xinjiang
Relying on the incremental distribution network and the source-grid-load-storage integration mode, the park integrates photovoltaic power generation, power transformation, energy storage and a smart management and control platform, realizing high-proportion local consumption of clean energy and integrated centralized regulation of multi-energy systems. Adopting the power supply and distribution mode of direct connection between green power and the incremental distribution network, the park supplies over 3 billion kWh of green power annually, reducing the electricity costs of park enterprises by about 20%. This scientific and technological project passed the scientific and technological achievement appraisal of the China Electricity Council in November 2025, with its overall technology reaching the international advanced level.
Looking ahead, Longyuan Environmental Protection will continue to deepen its business in zero-carbon parks, focus on the coordinated development of source-grid-load-storage, continuously optimize relevant planning and design schemes as well as commercial operation modes, promote the integrated development of power generation enterprises, renewable energy stations and parks, construct pilot demonstration projects such as direct green power connection, local microgrids and virtual power plants, advance the implementation of national-level zero-carbon park projects, and contribute as a core force to the group company’s planning and layout of zero-carbon park construction.
