Galaxy General Robots not only provides a full-process competition platform from simulation environment to real environment, but also, relying on its globally leading position in the field of embodied intelligence, has been formally invited by the International Organizing Committee to participate in setting questions and designing evaluation standards, bringing an authoritative embodied intelligence engineering practice system to the event.
From August 2nd to 9th, 2025, the 2nd International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence Academic Activities (IOAI2025) will be grandly held in Haidian District, Beijing. As the world’s first high-level academic activity focusing on middle school students’ artificial intelligence application and innovation, IOAI will land in China for the first time. Hosted by Beijing National Day School, it will gather 80 teams (310 students and 80 team leaders) from 63 countries and regions around the world to launch a one-week AI extreme challenge.
It is worth mentioning that IOAI2025 is the first international artificial intelligence competition in the world to introduce robot real-machine practice. Beijing Galaxy General Robot Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Galaxy General”), as the exclusive robot platform supporter, will help teenagers in-depth practice artificial intelligence technology in real scenarios and explore the innovative development and application of embodied intelligence.
Founded in 2023, IOAI has developed into an international competition network covering 85 member countries and regions, committed to promoting the fairness, accessibility and international cooperation of youth AI education. Different from traditional academic competitions, IOAI emphasizes the application of technology in real problems, focuses on core fields such as machine learning, natural language processing and computer vision, and builds a “future-oriented” science and technology Olympiad system.
Galaxy General exclusively supports the “Future Factory” team challenge
As the exclusive technical supporter of this IOAI Team Challenge, Galaxy General Robots not only provides a full-process competition platform from simulation environment to real environment, but also, relying on its global leadership in the field of embodied intelligence, has been formally invited by the International Organizing Committee to participate in setting questions and designing evaluation standards, bringing an authoritative embodied intelligence engineering practice system to the event.
The self-developed embodied large-model robot “Galbot” by Galaxy General will fully support the “Future Factory” challenge tasks. Participating students will complete the whole process from task analysis to algorithm development and real deployment, realizing the “simulation-real machine integration” format.
The challenge is divided into two stages:
Simulation Development Stage (13:00-18:00 on August 4th)
Student teams will carry out full-process development such as task analysis, algorithm and program design in the simulated factory environment.
Real-Machine Verification Stage (16:30-18:00 on August 6th)
The top 10 teams will deploy the optimized code to the Galbot robot and complete actual operation tasks in the simulated real scene of the future factory, so as to fully verify the reliability and practicability of the scheme.
This challenge is the first AI real-machine deployment challenge for middle school students, and examines abilities through three major dimensions: first, it requires deploying AI algorithms to industrial-grade robots to complete real tasks, comprehensively testing algorithm design and hands-on practice abilities; second, it completes the whole-process engineering practice from algorithm development to on-site debugging through team collaboration, strengthening collaborative innovation literacy; third, all tasks are derived from real factory needs, focusing on cultivating the ability to solve practical problems.
Joint support from multiple parties and national-level attention
This event has received support from UNESCO, Beijing Municipal Education Commission, Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Beijing Haidian District People’s Government and other departments. Zhongguancun College and Beijing Institute for General Artificial Intelligence serve as academic guidance units. Galaxy General will work with leading artificial intelligence enterprises to participate in the all-round construction of the event platform, technology, computing power, etc.
During the event, CCTV News, Xinhua News Agency, People’s Daily Online and other central media as well as mainstream media will report the whole process. The scene of the “Future Factory” challenge will also be live-streamed through CCTV and other platforms, showing the wonderful moments of teenagers’ AI actual combat to global audiences.
