On August 5, 2025, Zhejiang Fengli Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. released the “2025 Annual Plan for Issuing A-Shares to Specific Objects”, proposing to issue to no more than 35 specific objects, with the funds raised through private placement of stocks not exceeding 730 million yuan.
The funds will be used for the intelligent manufacturing project of precision power gears for new energy vehicles, the new-generation precision transmission manufacturing project, the construction project of precision transmission R&D center, and supplementary working capital.
Among them, the new energy vehicle precision power gear project plans to invest 324 million yuan to build a production line with an annual output of 9 million precision power gears for new energy vehicles. It aims to develop customers of new energy vehicle OEMs and first-tier suppliers, enrich the company’s product categories, enhance risk resistance capabilities, and further expand the new energy vehicle gear market.
Fengli Intelligent’s new energy power gear business was added in the fourth quarter of 2024. There were sales and orders on hand in the first half of this year, and the company expects that the monthly output value will increase in the second half of the year.
The new-generation precision transmission project plans to invest 258 million yuan, with an annual output of 180,000 harmonic reducers, 200,000 small and micro reducers, and 60,000 planetary reducers. It will help expand the production capacity of precision reduction products, enrich the product structure, broaden application fields, realize business transformation and upgrading, and further enhance industry competitiveness.
It is understood that the expansion of reducer production capacity is mainly driven by downstream applications, especially the expanding demand in high-end manufacturing fields such as industrial robots and humanoid robots.
Precision reducers are key transmission components of robots, and China is the world’s largest market for industrial robots, accounting for more than half of the global market share. The new demand for industrial robots is one of the main driving forces for the development of the reducer industry.
Data shows that the total demand for industrial robot reducers in China is expected to be 1.34 million units in 2024, and from 2025 to 2028, the total demand for reducers in China’s industrial robot field will exceed 7.5 million units.
It is worth noting that in terms of harmonic reducer products, Fengli Intelligent has carried out in-depth cooperation with well-known robot enterprise Xingdong Jiyuan and supplied in batches. It has also verified, introduced or supplied in small batches to Unitree, Sanhua Intelligent Control, and Hechuan Technology, with relatively rich customer resources reserves in the precision reducer industry.
