ToggleDelta Hosts First “Industrial Automation Technology Conference”
—— Driving Manufacturing Upgrading with Standardized Solutions
Currently, competition in the industrial market is intensifying, and the continuous upgrading of industries has brought many new opportunities. For industrial automation enterprises providing automation products and solutions, standing out in the new market competition requires not only rapid response but also comprehensive competition in technology and solutions.
The recently launched “Delta Industrial Automation 2025 First Technology Conference” has given the answer. Technology-led growth will be the main direction for industrial automation enterprises in future competition, and solidifying technical solutions into standards and replicating them across industries will be the most effective way to use technology to promote the progress of customers and industries.
At this conference, 149 technical experts gathered to conduct in-depth exchanges on core topics such as the development trends of industrial automation technology, product innovation, the implementation of industry standards, and practical cases.
Dr. Tsai Ching-hsiung, Deputy General Manager of Delta’s Mechatronics Business Group, said: “Industrial automation products on the market have highly similar functions and technologies. Transforming them into solutions that meet the needs of customers requires the efforts of all technical engineers. Holding this conference, which is fully focused on technology, aims to accelerate the innovation of technical solutions, lead the market with technological development, and create value for customers.”
Shi Wenxiang, General Manager of Delta-Greentech’s Mechatronics Division, stated: “The gathering of all technical colleagues for exchanges and sharing is a mobilization for action. We hope to take 2025 as the ‘First Year of Standardization’ to accelerate the standardized, normalized, and efficient implementation of technical solutions, and then quickly inherit, replicate, and promote them among partners and industry customers, forming a complete closed-loop ecosystem.”
Technology-Driven Growth, Building Replicable Industry Solutions
Delta has always attached importance to the cultivation of technical personnel’s capabilities and qualities. Through irregular centralized technical training, rich online courses, an integrated knowledge base, and precise interaction between on-site technical engineers and R&D personnel, it has developed one replicable solution after another that precipitates industry experience, promoting the transformation of technical solutions from “experience-driven” to “standard-driven”.
Here are the industry-specific process solutions built by Delta based on industry needs:
- Tension control solution for photovoltaic multi-wire cutting process: It addresses the pain points of tension control in the multi-wire cutting process of the photovoltaic industry. Through a dedicated tension servo machine and proprietary winding algorithm, it stabilizes tension fluctuations, improves the processing accuracy and yield of silicon wafers, reduces the thickness deviation of silicon wafers to ±5μm, and increases the yield to over 97%.
- Multi-axis collaborative control solution: Targeting the extensive demand for multi-axis synchronous control and meeting the needs of compact spaces, it achieves millisecond-level synchronization of multiple axes relying on high-precision motion control technology, improving gantry synchronization by 30%.
- Prismatic battery winding solution: For the winding process of prismatic cells, a proprietary variable speed control algorithm ensures constant winding linear speed; the tension servo system ASDA-A3-ET is used with tension sensors to precisely control the unwinding linear speed and tension to remain constant at all times.
- Lithium battery formation stacker control solution: To solve the pain point of high energy consumption of stackers in lithium battery formation warehouses, the REG2000 energy recovery unit is adopted to replace traditional brake resistors. It recovers energy during braking, achieving 40% energy saving and significantly reducing energy waste caused by frequent acceleration and deceleration of stackers.
- Magnetic levitation chiller solution: For the needs of high-density industrial refrigeration scenarios, it adopts non-contact magnetic levitation bearing technology, completely eliminating mechanical friction loss. Compared with traditional screw units, it achieves a 40% leap in energy efficiency, and the equipment footprint is reduced by 30%, providing new possibilities for plant space optimization.
- MH300 data center dual power switching system inverter solution: Confronting the contradiction between space and energy efficiency in data center cooling systems, the MH300 inverter is applied to achieve a power switching speed of 350ms (far exceeding the 150ms safety standard) and an output efficiency exceeding the industry ceiling of 98%; ensuring stable power supply and reliable operation of data centers.
- Semiconductor high-speed bare die pick-and-place solution: Designed for the need of rapid and precise process conversion of bare dies, it is built relying on a high-precision motion control system, featuring gantry synchronization function, and with the support of AI vision, ensuring accurate pick-and-place every time.
- Intelligent closed-loop capping solution: Addressing the process pain points of capping and screwing in filling production, it can sense torque changes of 0.003N·m, meet the force application requirements of 0-50N·m, and achieve various precise measurements; complete torque data recording and analysis are linked to the MES system to realize digital management.
From the ideological collision at the technology conference to the deep implementation of replicable solutions, Delta has provided a “standardized” sample for the industry, accelerating the transformation of manufacturing towards smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable development.
