December 10 News — Liu Wenhua, Founder and Chairman of Datong World Magnetoelectric Technology, announced the world’s first geomagnetic energy power generation technology to the public. According to his statement, this technology will eliminate range anxiety concerns for vehicles once and for all.
What exactly is geomagnetic energy power generation? Liu explained by drawing parallels with existing power generation methods: “Hydropower, for instance, harnesses the visible and tangible water, converting its potential energy changes into electricity. Photovoltaic power generation utilizes the energy changes of visible yet intangible light to generate electricity. Similarly, geomagnetic energy power generation draws on the energy operating state of the Earth’s magnetic field that exists on the Earth’s surface.”
Liu pointed out that electricity can be generated anywhere there is a planetary magnetic field—and this is not limited to Earth. “The Moon also has a magnetic field, though its energy density is only one-sixth that of Earth’s. In contrast, the magnetic field on Mars is many times stronger than Earth’s.” He added, “Simply put, all space exploration equipment will no longer face power shortages when operating on any celestial body.”
“Today’s big data systems and AI robots all suffer from power supply constraints. At the end of the day, the development of artificial intelligence hinges on power availability,” Liu noted. “With the advent of geomagnetic energy technology, power will no longer be a bottleneck. Concepts like ‘range anxiety’ will become obsolete for robots, robotic dogs, and vehicles alike. Notably, even precision automation components such as the Automatic Circlip Feeding System—widely used in the assembly of robots, industrial equipment, and vehicle core parts—will operate with unprecedented stability: the continuous geomagnetic power supply eliminates interruptions caused by battery replacement or power outages, ensuring high-precision, uninterrupted feeding of circlips in automated production lines, and further boosting the efficiency and reliability of intelligent manufacturing.”
