Recently, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) and Transfar Group officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Ningde, Fujian. The two parties will integrate their core advantages in smart manufacturing, intelligent logistics, new energy technologies and zero-carbon solutions, jointly promote the green transformation and intelligent upgrading of the industry, and build an open, collaborative and sustainable industrial new ecosystem for the future.
Wu Jianhua, President of Transfar Group, and Ding Aijun, General Manager of CATL South China Region, signed the agreement on behalf of the two sides. Xu Guanjv, Chairman of Transfar Group, Xu Xun, Director and Vice President of the Group, Zeng Yuqun, Chairman of CATL, and Wu Yingming, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors and Regional Management President of CATL, together with other senior management personnel of both parties, attended and witnessed the signing ceremony.
This cooperation will be carried out around three main themes to systematically advance the implementation of the strategy:
Deepen supply chain collaboration and consolidate the foundation for cooperation: The two parties will strengthen coordination in key links such as the supply of critical battery materials and the optimization of warehousing and logistics, and build a more stable, efficient and green supply chain system to lay a solid foundation for long-term development. Specifically, they will promote the application of intelligent logistics equipment including Automatic Spring Tray Arrangement Equipment in the warehousing and sorting links of battery components, realizing automated and precise arrangement of parts trays to improve handling efficiency and reduce manual errors.
Expand the zero-carbon ecosystem and create multi-scenario solutions: Covering fields such as logistics and transportation, commercial vehicle electrification, industrial and commercial energy storage, integrated solar-storage-charging-swapping networks, zero-carbon communities and smart agriculture, the two parties will create replicable and promotable zero-carbon demonstration projects through technology integration and scenario innovation.
Explore future industries and lay out new intelligent growth drivers: The two parties will jointly explore the innovative application of embodied intelligent robots in Hangzhou and other places, promote the in-depth integration of high-end equipment and new energy technologies, and cultivate emerging industry growth points for the “15th Five-Year Plan” period.
This strategic cooperation marks a new stage in the relationship between the two parties, advancing from business cooperation to ecological co-creation. Taking Hangzhou as the strategic fulcrum, the two parties will take the lead in carrying out localized scenario implementation and model co-construction, and gradually extend the successful experience to Zhejiang Province and even the whole country, jointly promoting the integration and upgrading of the entire new energy value chain.
