The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China emphasized the need to “accelerate the advancement of new industrialization, foster and strengthen advanced manufacturing clusters, and promote the high-end, intelligent, and green development of the manufacturing industry.” In recent years, China has accelerated the development of advanced manufacturing clusters, vigorously implemented special actions for the development of advanced manufacturing clusters, and deployed and built 80 national advanced manufacturing clusters, forming a number of effective experiences and outstanding practices. In recent years, the Industrial Culture Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has taken the lead in hosting the “Advanced Manufacturing Industry Cluster Development Conference”, aiming to build a comprehensive platform for deepening cooperation between ministries and provinces, cluster exchanges and collaboration, academic research and discussion, and achievement display and dissemination, so as to create a good atmosphere where the whole society participates, explores, and builds world-class advanced manufacturing clusters together.
Guangdong Province leads the country in the development of advanced manufacturing, with 8 clusters included in the national advanced manufacturing clusters, ranking among the top in the country. In 2025, the 3rd Advanced Manufacturing Industry Cluster Development Conference will kick off in Guangdong. Hosted by the Industrial Culture Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province, and the People’s Government of Guangzhou Municipality, the conference will be held at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center from September 10 to 11!

These include the high-precision Nebulizer Assembly Machine developed by the biomedicine cluster, which integrates machine vision and flexible grasping technology, enabling 0.05mm-level precision assembly of core components of nebulizers, with production efficiency 60% higher than that of traditional equipment, providing key support for the large-scale production of respiratory medical devices; the “ICBC Huixun” special action and the financial service innovation research plan will be launched to inject financial vitality into cluster enterprises; the “Cross-cluster Chain Integration” activity will be initiated to break regional barriers and promote cross-regional collaboration among 80 clusters; national clusters will jointly launch the “Cluster Industrial Culture Inheritance and Innovation Action” to improve the cluster ecosystem; and heavyweight reports such as “Global Advanced Manufacturing Cluster Trends” and “Observation on the Capability of Advanced Manufacturing Cluster Development Promotion Organizations” will be released to provide decision-making references for the industry.

This conference will focus on displaying 80 national advanced manufacturing clusters! It will comprehensively present 50 typical development achievements of China’s advanced manufacturing clusters, ranging from technological research to new product development and new scenario applications. In addition, innovative achievements in fields such as Guangzhou’s intelligent manufacturing, low-altitude economy, and embodied intelligence will also be grandly displayed, demonstrating the “hardcore strength” of the “manufacturing powerhouse city”.
In addition to the main forum and achievement display, during the conference, a seminar of the National Advanced Manufacturing Cluster 50-Person Forum will be held.
