Guide: The 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference clearly outlines a complete ecological map of the intelligent agent era. This year’s conference, featuring “model applications, embodied intelligence, and intelligent hardware”, is full of highlights.
The 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference was held in Shanghai from July 26 to 29, with the theme “Intelligent Era, Working Together for a Shared Future”. Covering an exhibition area of over 70,000 square meters, it attracted more than 800 enterprises to participate, with over 3,000 exhibits on display, making it the largest in the conference’s history.
This year’s conference, characterized by “model applications + embodied intelligence + intelligent hardware”, is full of brilliant highlights. The embodied intelligence and robot exhibition areas were extremely popular. Tesla brought its humanoid robot TeslaBot; the robot boxing performance area of Unitree Technology was so crowded that it might trigger trypophobia; over 20 flagship and newly launched robot products from more than 10 enterprises, including 智元机器人 (Zhiyuan Robotics) and 云深处 (Yunshenchu), made their appearances. In the H3 Intelligent Terminal Pavilion alone, 63 intelligent robots, 208 humanoid/wheeled robots, and 56 robot dogs were exhibited. In the field of intelligent hardware, Alibaba launched its first Quark AI Glass; ZTE unveiled its emotional companion AI pet “Mashu” for the first time; star AI/AR glass manufacturers such as XREAL, Halliday, Rokid, and 李未可科技 (Liweike Technology) showcased their flagship products. Lenovo, iFlytek, and 六联智能 (Liulian Intelligence) exhibited devices such as AI PCs and AI learning machines. In the field of AI infrastructure, Huawei’s Ascend 384 super node real machine made a grand appearance. The lineup of AI chip enterprises was luxurious, with more than 20 chip companies including 摩尔线程 (Moore Threads), 燧原科技 (Suiyuan Technology), 后摩智能 (Houmo Intelligence), 曦智科技 (Xizhi Technology), 沐曦 (Muxi), 芯动力科技 (Xindongli Technology), 墨芯人工智能 (Moxin AI), 中昊芯英 (Zhonghao Xinying), 凌川科技 (Lingchuan Technology), 此芯科技 (Cixin Technology), 兆芯 (Zhaoxin), 爱芯元智 (Aixinyuanzhi), 算能 (SuanNeng), 云知声 (Yunzhisheng), 行云集成电路 (Xingyun IC), 时识科技 (Shishi Technology), 奎芯科技 (Kuixin Technology), 奇异摩尔 (Qiyi Moore), 紫光国芯 (Ziguang Guoxin), 泽丰 (Zefeng), and 云脉芯联 (Yunmai Xinlian) participating in the exhibition.
At the conference site, what was displayed was not only a technical feast but also a productivity revolution focusing on independent innovation and real-world scenarios. Major manufacturers launched a new generation of intelligent agent products, vividly demonstrating this revolutionary shift from “dialogue” to “getting things done”.
Alibaba: Released the technological research and development progress of its first self-developed AI glass, “Quark AI Glass”. This glass integrates multiple cutting-edge technologies of Alibaba, combines the Tongyi Qianwen large model and Quark’s latest AI capabilities, and supports Alibaba and Alipay ecosystem services such as Amap navigation, Alipay’s “scan to pay”, Taobao price comparison, and Fliggy business travel reminders. It is expected to be officially released within the year and is expected to lead a new revolution in smart wearable devices.
Huawei: Showcased the industry’s largest “Ascend 384 super node real machine”, consisting of 12 computing cabinets and 4 bus cabinets, with a total computing power of 300 Pflops. Based on a super node architecture, this product breaks the boundaries of traditional AI servers through bus technology, connecting 384 Ascend NPUs and 192 Kunpeng CPUs via a new high-speed network in a peer-to-peer manner to form a super “AI server”. It significantly improves computing power performance and provides strong computing support for AI large model training, etc.
China Telecom: Launched “Zhiyun Shanghai”, integrating cloud computing, artificial intelligence and other technical resources to provide high-quality intelligent services for enterprises and users in Shanghai and surrounding areas, helping the development of the regional digital economy.
China Mobile: Released the new generation Lingxi Intelligent Agent 2.0, demonstrating its strong capabilities as an “AI life butler”. Relying on the independently developed MoMA intelligent decision-making engine, Lingxi 2.0 performs excellently in high-frequency life scenarios. When users issue a simple instruction such as “I plan to travel to Chengdu for 5 days, please make a travel guide for me”, Lingxi 2.0 can not only quickly generate a personalized guide covering food, accommodation, transportation, and sightseeing but also seamlessly connect to platform resources such as Ctrip and Tongcheng to complete a full set of services including air ticket booking, hotel selection, and ticket purchase, simplifying complex travel planning.
ZTE: Debuted the Nebula Cloud Computing Super Node Server and the emotional companion AI pet “Mashu”. The Nebula Cloud Computing Super Node Server is specially designed for high-performance computing and artificial intelligence applications, with excellent computing and storage capabilities; “Mashu”, with its cute image and intelligent interaction functions, brings users a new emotional companionship experience.
Hangzhou Yunshenchu Technology: Its new wheeled-legged robot made its global debut, demonstrating advanced robot motion control technology and innovative mechanical design, which can be applied in logistics, rescue and other fields.
Qinglang Intelligence: Its biped humanoid embodied service robot XMAN made its global premiere, with flexible movement capabilities and intelligent service interaction functions, and is expected to play an important role in service industries such as hotels and catering.
Shanghai Electric: Its dual-arm robot “Lingke” appeared, with high-precision operation capabilities and good environmental adaptability, which can be applied in manufacturing links such as assembly and inspection.
Xingdong Jiyuan: Showcased its core embodied intelligence product matrix, with three products – Xingdong L7, Xingdong XHAND1, and Xingdong Q5 – conducting live demonstrations.
From the stunning appearance of new intelligent agents to their extensive application in industries, and to the security infrastructure that safeguards them, the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference clearly outlines a complete ecological map of the intelligent agent era.
