iRC100 Goes Live: First Domestic Core-Based Robot Universal Domain Controller Rolls Off Line on Sept 14 & Enters Initial Delivery

 

Recently, Zhixing Technology announced that its first domestically developed core-based universal domain controller for robots, the iRC100, officially rolled off the production line on September 14th and has been delivered to the first batch of users, including major domestic general and special-purpose robot enterprises.

 

iRC100’s Core Advantages: Integrated “Brain-Cerebellum” Architecture & Full-Stack Solution for Embodied Intelligence

 

It is understood that the iRC100 is built based on the Sweet Potato Robot S100P. It adopts an integrated “brain and cerebellum” architecture design, applies industrial-grade selection and design standards, and incorporates vehicle-grade experience. It can cater to full-scenario applications of large-scale commercialization of embodied intelligence, providing a full-stack solution from basic software and hardware environment to complete functional deployment.Specifically, internally, the iRC100 supports robot motion control algorithms and cutting-edge algorithms such as VLA, covering both the “cerebellum” and “brain” functions of robots, and also supports the deployment of traditional BEV Transformers. Externally, it covers interfaces including USB and ETH, as well as CAN and EtherCat buses. At the same time, it supports optional functional interfaces such as grippers and IMUs—effectively meeting the access needs of sensors and actuators for various embodied intelligent robots.

 

Sweet Potato Robot S100P: Multi-Core Heterogeneous Design Powers Robot Computing Needs

 

The Sweet Potato Robot S100P is based on a multi-core heterogeneous design, integrating CPU + BPU + MCU on a single SoC. It can provide 137K DMIPS CPU computing power and 128TOPS BPU computing power for the robot’s “brain”, achieving faster inference and lower power consumption. Meanwhile, the S100P can also provide over 6K DMIPS computing power for the “cerebellum”, meeting the computing needs of various real-time motion control scenarios——and supporting the computing power requirements of embodied intelligence (such as humanoid robots, quadruped robots, and wheeled robots) in full scenarios including industrial collaboration, logistics and distribution, commercial and home services, and special applications.

Facing the field of embodied intelligence, Zhixing Technology officially established Aimoxing Robot Co., Ltd. in March this year. The goal is to leverage the technical versatility of robots and autonomous driving systems in visual perception and multi-modal interaction, focus on the full-chain layout of robot technology from R&D to commercialization, and explore the cross-border integration layout of “AI + Automobile + Robot”.

Xiaogongjiang Acquisition & Backpack Robot Project: Expanding Embodied Intelligence Application Scenarios

 

Subsequently, in May, Aimoxing signed a framework agreement on equity transfer with Suzhou Xiaogongjiang Robot Co., Ltd. (“Xiaogongjiang”), and will invest to acquire a majority of Xiaogongjiang’s shares to become its controlling shareholder. Xiaogongjiang’s core products are intelligent integrated joints and customized robotic arms, with capabilities in designing key components like motors and reducers.In early September, Zhixing Technology announced that Xiaogongjiang had won a commissioned development project from a leading domestic robot company to create a full-stack solution for backpack robots. The prototype weighs only 10 kg (portable by adults), features 6 joints/arms, 6 degrees of freedom, a 0.6m maximum working radius, 5kg maximum load, and high-precision motion control.This time, with the official release and delivery of the iRC100, it marks another key breakthrough in Zhixing Technology’s layout in the field of embodied intelligence.
