New Company Focused on Core Components for Humanoid Robots
The newly founded Schaeffler Embodied Intelligent Robotics (Taicang) Co., Ltd. will focus on the R&D and manufacturing of various core robot components, including rolling bearings, roller screws, precision reducers, motors, sensors, etc., and provide modular solutions for rotary actuators, linear motion, thermal management and battery management.
The company has also planned a complete R&D and manufacturing system, covering an intelligent R&D center, smart digital production lines, a computing power center, and a data collection and training center.
Innovative Production Model Integrating Humanoid Robots and Smart Manufacturing
Notably, the company plans to introduce humanoid robots with perception and execution capabilities as production factors, integrating them with the intelligent manufacturing system to build a new production model.
