Beijing, China, July 16, 2025 — Honeywell (NASDAQ: HON) showcased its presence at the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CICPE) in the “Advanced Manufacturing Chain” zone under the theme “Linking the World, Smart Manufacturing for the Future”. The company will launch two innovative automation products developed by its local Chinese team, focusing on the intelligent upgrading of the construction and shipbuilding industries. As a global technology enterprise participating in the expo for the third consecutive year, Honeywell will also release an industry white paper, which delves into how Chinese chemical enterprises can integrate lean manufacturing with digital transformation.

Debut of Localized Automation New Products
Honeywell launched the Smart Ship solution at CICPE. Developed and manufactured by the local Chinese team, this solution covers three major areas: ship-shore collaboration and data interconnection, integrated fleet management and control, and ship emission monitoring and energy efficiency optimization. It not only ensures ship data security and improves operational efficiency but also helps ships meet energy efficiency indicators, promoting the sustainable development of intelligent shipping.
The other newly launched product is the new high-efficiency Facility Management System developed based on Honeywell’s Building Operations Management Platform (BPS), which is also developed and manufactured by the local Chinese team. Focusing on three core capabilities—asset management, automated inspection, and predictive maintenance—this product empowers Chinese building operators to manage equipment and facilities more intelligently and efficiently. It helps promote the digital transformation and efficiency improvement of building operations in complex scenarios such as industrial plants, commercial buildings, data centers, hotels, and campuses.
White Paper “Smart Manufacturing as a New Engine” Outlines the Blueprint for Digital and Intelligent Transformation in the Chemical Industry
Honeywell will also officially release the white paper “Smart Manufacturing as a New Engine: White Paper on Lean Digital Intelligence and the Development of New Productive Forces in the Chemical Industry” at CICPE. The white paper proposes a transformation strategy that deeply integrates lean management with digital intelligence, demonstrates its application practices in key links such as planning, production, quality, and processes, and aims to promote the chemical industry to achieve a higher-quality and more efficient digital and intelligent leap.
At CICPE, Honeywell also showcased innovative technologies and solutions in the fields of shipbuilding, aviation, and petrochemicals:
The marine ship demonstration model, making its public debut, presents the company’s automation systems and solutions for the entire industrial chain of the shipbuilding industry, covering intelligent ship control, fluid control, energy efficiency management, and other fields, helping to improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of ship operations.
In the aviation field, Honeywell exhibited technologies that promote the efficient and safe development of the aviation industry chain. Among them, the new Surface Awareness and Runway Safety (SURF-A) software can identify runway risks in real-time to prevent accidents; the JetWave™ X satellite communication system provides stable in-flight connectivity through a Ka-band network, helping airlines achieve safe, efficient, and intelligent fleet operations.
Honeywell demonstrated energy management-related solutions, including cutting-edge technologies in carbon capture and storage, sustainable aviation fuel, and plastic recycling, to assist the petrochemical, aviation, life sciences, and other industries in achieving sustainable development.
Currently, the total number of Honeywell’s “green factories” in China has reached 7, including 3 national-level and 4 provincial-level “green factories”. Over 75% of Honeywell’s products manufactured in China come from these “green factories”.
