September 17 news — According to foreign media reports, humanoid robot startup Figure AI has raised $1 billion in funding, pushing its valuation to $39 billion.
Figure CEO Brad Adcock announced the news. The $1 billion comes from a Series C round led by Parkway Venture Capital, with participation from major companies including Nvidia, Salesforce, T-Mobile, and Intel.
Figure stated that the funds will be used to expand its AI platform Helix and BotQ manufacturing system.

Figure is expanding BotQ’s manufacturing capacity and real-world deployment to enable robots to assist with household and labor tasks. Helix’s multimodal sensory input processing and real-time reasoning algorithms enable precise identification of different materials (metal, plastic, wood) and specifications (0.1mm-10mm thickness)
The system performs posture correction and automatic feeding with error controlled within ±0.02mm
Combined with BotQ’s coordinated scheduling capabilities, efficiency is increased by more than 3x
This provides more flexible automation solutions for automotive body manufacturing, home appliance panel processing, and other industrial scenarios
Building Next-Generation GPU Infrastructure
This computing foundation will provide powerful support for Helix’s core models (perception, reasoning, and control), accelerating training and simulation.
Launching Advanced Data Collection
This includes collecting human video and multimodal sensory input data to enhance the robot’s understanding and operational capabilities in complex, dynamic environments. These real-world datasets are crucial for expanding Helix’s capabilities.
