In July,<\/strong> among the producer prices for industrial products, the prices of means of production fell by 4.3%, affecting the overall producer price index for industrial products to drop by approximately 3.20 percentage points.<\/p>\n

In July 2025<\/strong>, the national producer price index for industrial products decreased by 0.2% month-on-month, and the purchase price index for industrial producers fell by 0.3% month-on-month. The declines narrowed by 0.2 and 0.4 percentage points respectively compared with the previous month. The producer price index for industrial products dropped by 3.6% year-on-year, and the purchase price index for industrial producers decreased by 4.5% year-on-year. On average from January to July, the producer price index for industrial products was 2.9% lower than the same period of the previous year, and the purchase price index for industrial producers was 3.2% lower.<\/p>\n

In July, among the producer prices for industrial products,<\/strong> the prices of means of production fell by 4.3%, affecting the overall producer price index for industrial products to drop by approximately 3.20 percentage points. Specifically, the prices of extractive industries decreased by 14.0%, the prices of raw material industries fell by 5.4%, and the prices of processing industries dropped by 3.1%. The prices of means of livelihood declined by 1.6%, affecting the overall producer price index for industrial products to decrease by about 0.42 percentage points. Among them, food prices fell by 1.8%, clothing prices decreased by 0.1%, prices of general daily necessities rose by 0.6%, and prices of durable consumer goods dropped by 3.5%.<\/p>\n

Among the purchase prices for industrial producers, prices of fuel and power fell by 10.8%, prices of ferrous metal materials decreased by 8.0%, prices of chemical raw materials dropped by 6.5%, prices of agricultural and sideline products fell by 4.6%, prices of building materials and non-metals decreased by 3.8%, and prices of textile raw materials dropped by 2.5%; prices of non-ferrous metal materials and wires rose by 2.8%.<\/p>\n

In July, among the producer prices for industrial products,<\/strong> the prices of means of production fell by 0.2%, affecting the overall producer price index for industrial products to drop by approximately 0.17 percentage points. Specifically, the prices of extractive industries decreased by 0.2%, the prices of raw material industries fell by 0.1%, and the prices of processing industries dropped by 0.3%. The prices of means of livelihood declined by 0.2%, affecting the overall producer price index for industrial products to decrease by about 0.06 percentage points. Among them, food prices remained unchanged, clothing prices decreased by 0.1%, prices of general daily necessities dropped by 0.2%, and prices of durable consumer goods fell by 0.6%.<\/p>\n
