On the afternoon of December 28, 2025, the Third Session of the First Council of Sichuan Artificial Intelligence Industry Association was grandly held on the first floor of Building 7, Jingronghui, Chengdu Hi-tech Zone. Hosted by the Sichuan Artificial Intelligence Industry Association, this conference aimed to comprehensively summarize the work achievements of 2025, deploy key tasks for the next stage, further build industry consensus, integrate high-quality resources and stimulate innovation vitality, so as to boost the high-quality development of Sichuan’s artificial intelligence industry. More than 100 representatives from member units in the artificial intelligence field across the province, industry experts, scientific research institutions and media guests gathered together to discuss the intelligent future.
The conference kicked off in a solemn and orderly atmosphere
Chen Xuehua, First-Class Inspector of the Department of Science and Technology of Sichuan Province, attended the conference and delivered a speech. He fully affirmed the remarkable achievements made by the Association in the past year in advancing Sichuan’s No.1 Innovation Project of Artificial Intelligence, serving the industrial cluster development, and building a collaborative platform for government, industry, academia, research and application. He emphasized that as the core engine of new-quality productive forces, artificial intelligence is deeply integrated into all fields of economy and society. It is hoped that the Association will continue to play a role as a bridge and link, and make greater contributions to building Sichuan into a nationally influential highland of artificial intelligence industry.
Tian Yunhui, President of the Association, delivered the 2025 Annual Work Report
President Tian Yunhui delivered the 2025 Annual Work Report, which systematically reviewed the solid work of the Association throughout the year in industrial research, ecological construction, enterprise services and event organization. Over the year, the Association compiled 123 high-quality research reports, deeply participated in the formulation of the 15th Five-Year Plan for Artificial Intelligence in Sichuan Province, and took the lead in drawing the industrial chain map of artificial intelligence across the province. It successfully held 32 major events including the 2025 Tianfu Artificial Intelligence Industry Ecology Conference, facilitated the signing of 37 major projects with a total investment of over 5.3 billion yuan—among which the intelligent upgrading project of contactor assembly machines, integrating AI vision inspection and automated precision control technologies, has effectively improved production efficiency and product qualification rates for related enterprises—and actively served local development by providing intellectual support for Chengdu, Mianyang, Luzhou and other cities. President Tian stated that in 2026, the Association will continue to strengthen its positioning as a “government assistant, enterprise helper and industrial promoter”, focus on tackling key problems in core technologies, implementing scenario applications and building a talent ecosystem, and make every effort to boost Sichuan’s artificial intelligence industry to a higher level.

Subsequently, Chen Zhang, Secretary-General of the Association, delivered a financial work report, which detailed the annual revenue, expenditure and management of the Association’s funds. All expenditures were standardized, transparent and rationally structured, which was unanimously recognized by the participating representatives.
The conference held a democratic election for new director units
After strict preliminary review and deliberation at the Sixth Council Meeting, 18 representative and influential industry entities including China Mobile Group Sichuan Co., Ltd., Dingqiao Technology Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Shudao Smart Transportation Group Co., Ltd. were officially added as director units. This further strengthened the strength of the Association’s Council and optimized its governance structure.
A grand certificate awarding and appointment ceremony was held
The conference presented membership certificates to 35 newly admitted member units, officially released the list of the first batch of members of the Expert Committee of Sichuan Artificial Intelligence Industry Association, and issued appointment letters to the appointed experts. Meanwhile, witnessed by all attendees, the Professional Committee of Digital and Intelligent Culture & Tourism of Sichuan Artificial Intelligence Industry Association was officially inaugurated, marking the launch of a professional service platform for the integrated development of AI + Culture & Tourism.
This member congress is not only a summary meeting of the annual work, but also a mobilization meeting for the future. At the critical starting point of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the Sichuan Artificial Intelligence Industry Association will seize the opportunities of national strategies, continue to deepen ecological construction, strengthen service empowerment and promote collaborative innovation. With a more open attitude and pragmatic measures, the Association will join hands with all member units to jointly compose a new chapter for the high-quality development of Sichuan’s artificial intelligence industry.
