The cooperation between Xingdong Era and Lenovo aims to create a dedicated service robot for intelligent exhibition hall scenarios – “Pai Center Robot” based on Xingdong Era’s humanoid service robot Xingdong Q5, as well as the corresponding intelligent exhibition hall solution for humanoid service robots.
On August 20, 2025, Lenovo New Vision Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Lenovo Group, and Beijing Xingdong Era Technology Co., Ltd. held a strategic signing ceremony at Lenovo Group’s global headquarters (Beijing) to jointly launch the intelligent exhibition hall solution for humanoid service robots. Bai Yuli, Vice President of Lenovo Group and General Manager of Lenovo New Vision, Chen Jianyu, Founder of Xingdong Era, Xi Yue, Co-founder, and core teams from both sides attended and witnessed the signing.
This cooperation aims to create a dedicated service robot for intelligent exhibition hall scenarios – “Pai Center Robot” based on Xingdong Era’s humanoid service robot Xingdong Q5, as well as the corresponding intelligent exhibition hall solution for humanoid service robots. With the deep integration of “technology + scenario” as the core, this solution is expected to redefine the experience boundary and industry standards of high-end exhibition hall services.
Lenovo New Vision has been deeply engaged in scenarios such as exhibition halls and service halls for many years. Its H203 series (AGV mobile version), as a “companion virtual commentator”, has provided robot explanation services for many enterprises across the country with basic capabilities such as active greeting, intelligent obstacle avoidance, and autonomous charging. Xingdong Era, on the other hand, has significant advantages in humanoid robots and embodied intelligence technologies.
Founded in August 2023, Xingdong Era focuses on the research and development of universal embodied brains and universal robot bodies. So far, it has released four products: the full-size humanoid robot Xingdong L7, the humanoid five-finger dexterous hand Xingdong XHAND1, Xingdong XHAND Lite, and the humanoid service robot Xingdong Q5. The intelligent exhibition hall solution created in cooperation with Lenovo this time is jointly developed based on Xingdong Q5. Previously, Xingdong Q5 has collaborated with Haier to create a smart home solution and with Beijing Century Golden Resources Shopping Mall to create a smart shopping guide solution.
Super anthropomorphic hardware empowerment, breaking service boundaries
Relying on the strong hardware advantages of Xingdong Q5, it provides a solid guarantee for the efficient operation of the robot. As a new generation of humanoid service robot, Xingdong Q5 has an elegant and beautiful figure outlined by an integrated streamlined design, paired with a unique “small waist” shape. It is not only known as the “small waist beauty” in the robot world but also completely breaks the cold tool feeling of traditional service robots, redefining the anthropomorphic interaction paradigm of service robots.
With 44 high degrees of freedom throughout the body, the robot’s actions such as shaking hands, swinging arms, and waving are smooth, with a fluency comparable to that of a real person; its legs have 3 degrees of freedom, enabling it to easily complete squatting actions, which can meet various needs such as picking up items on the ground and serving customers. In addition, it is equipped with a 7-axis bionic robotic arm and an 11-degree-of-freedom “elf hand” – Xingdong XHAND Lite, which can not only steadily lift 10 kilograms of weight but also coordinate with voice communication through delicate gestures, making services such as delivering items, guiding, and explaining full of warmth.
In addition, the robot’s figure and chassis are designed to be small and flexible, with extremely strong passability, enabling it to easily through narrow spaces and ensuring the service safety and quality of the exhibition hall in a high-flow state.
Driven by the time-space synchronization engine to achieve millisecond-level real-time interaction
Lenovo New Vision’s time-space synchronization engine is a key technology applied in its intelligent exhibition hall solution. It can realize millisecond-level linkage of robot actions, explanation content, and large-screen display, forming an immersive real-time interaction closed loop of “speaking when arriving, and turning when speaking”.
When the robot explains an exhibit, it will accurately point to the corresponding position and trigger the switching of large-screen content simultaneously, making the entire visiting experience as smooth and natural as “being controlled by an invisible director”, which greatly enhances the audience’s sense of immersion.
Anthropomorphic active interaction, conveying the warmth of technological services
In the intelligent exhibition hall solution for humanoid service robots, relying on multi-sensor fusion algorithms, the robot can 敏锐 ly perceive the audience’s staying, expressions, and other states, and can immediately take the initiative to greet “Do you need an explanation?”. What’s more noteworthy is that it is equipped with 44 degrees of freedom for precise control, and can complete a series of etiquette actions suitable for high-end scenarios such as “45-degree angle greeting”, “elf hand delivering water”, and “drawing exhibition 意图 in the air”, making the service more warm while highlighting the sense of technology.
Full-scenario intelligent adaptation, building a “thousand people, thousand faces” service experience
In this solution, the robot can customize multiple explanation routes according to the layout of the exhibition hall, and can perfectly adapt to different scenarios such as permanent exhibitions, temporary conferences, and VIP receptions. At the same time, through the automatic knowledge base generation function (supporting Word/PDF upload), it can quickly match the professional content needs of industries such as high-end manufacturing and education and scientific research, showing strong adaptability. On this basis, the robot achieves a “thousand people, thousand faces” customized service closed loop by accurately responding to the personalized needs of “reception etiquette – explanation content – visiting route”, from the tone and intonation of greeting, the depth and focus of explanation content to the flexible adjustment of route planning.
It is worth noting that the Univerzálny montážny systém integrated into the solution provides core support for the rapid deployment and function expansion of the robot. This system supports the modular integration of modules such as the robotic arm and sensors of Xingdong Q5, which can not only flexibly add or reduce functional components according to the service needs of the exhibition hall but also quickly adapt to exhibit interaction devices of different brands. In addition to basic services such as explanation and guidance, the robot can easily expand composite functions such as exhibit demonstration assistance and intelligent device control, further strengthening the scenario adaptation ability of the intelligent exhibition hall solution.
In the future, both parties will continue to deeply explore the needs of intelligent upgrading of high-end exhibition halls, constantly iterate technologies and services, so that more efficient, more anthropomorphic, and more warm intelligent services can cover more industries, and help traditional exhibition halls complete their intelligent transformation.
