According to the agreement, Ant Group will build an AI enterprise service headquarters project in Chengdu Hi-Tech Zone. Relying on core capabilities such as its self-developed Bailing Large Model, it will provide integrated AI solutions for industry enterprises and promote the R&D, application, and implementation of AI technologies such as large models in Chengdu.
On July 23, the Chengdu Municipal People’s Government and Ant Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will jointly promote Ant Group to establish an AI enterprise service headquarters and a Western R&D Center in Chengdu, and carry out comprehensive cooperation in fields such as AI scenario applications, the construction of an international consumption center city, fintech industry, and cross-border 出海 services. Cao Lijun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Chengdu Municipal Party Committee, and Jing Xiandong, Chairman of Ant Group, attended the signing ceremony.
According to the agreement, Ant Group will build an AI enterprise service headquarters project in Chengdu Hi-Tech Zone. At the same time, Ant Group will set up a Western R&D Center in Chengdu. Through the application of innovative technology products and cutting-edge industry solutions, it will promote in-depth integration and collaborative development between Ant’s technologies and Chengdu’s local industries. The two parties will also continue to expand the scenario applications of AI in multiple fields such as government services, medical care, retail, and service industries, promote the regular construction of international payment facilitation in Chengdu, and help Chengdu build a national highland for AI industry development and an international consumption center city. In addition, the two parties will deepen cooperation in fintech and digital technology fields to further support the high-quality development of Chengdu’s fintech industry. They will also help Chengdu brands accelerate their overseas expansion by jointly improving the convenience of cross-border payment and settlement.
