Another industrial robot base put into operation, with an expected annual output value of 250 million yuan!


As an industry expert in high-speed robots, Atom Robot has, since its establishment in 2013, focused on the R&D and innovation of intelligent manufacturing technologies such as parallel Delta robots, high-speed SCARA robots, autonomous controllers, and vision systems. Its products are widely used in multiple fields including food, pharmaceuticals, daily chemicals, lithium batteries, and automobile manufacturing, covering over 8,000 industrial application scenarios.

On July 22, Atom Robot officially announced the official operation of its Wuxi base. This marks a key leap for Atom from a “single-item champion” to a “multi-category robot product service provider”.

It is understood that Atom Robot’s production and manufacturing project settled in Huishan High-Tech Zone Robot Intelligent Manufacturing Science and Technology Park in January 2025, focusing on the production and manufacturing of light-weight high-speed industrial robots such as collaborative palletizing robots and SCARA robots.

The base has invested nearly 20 million yuan and is equipped with a 10,000-square-meter modern factory. Advanced production equipment such as SMT (Surface Mount Technology) production lines, CNC machining centers, and sheet metal processing centers in the factory are operating efficiently, mass-producing “intelligent iron arm” collaborative palletizing robots. It is worth mentioning that the Wuxi base has specially invested 10 million yuan in a special fund to establish a CNC machining center and an SMT production line, focusing on the independent R&D of “bottleneck” components such as reducers and controllers.

According to the plan, the peak production capacity of the base will reach 5,000 sets of collaborative palletizing robots and 2,000 sets of parallel robots per year, with an expected annual output value of 250 million yuan, injecting strong momentum into the regional intelligent manufacturing industry.

According to Tianyancha, first-tier investment institutions such as Huicui Hengyi Fund, Jingshuihu Venture Capital, Haichuang Mother Fund, Lenovo Venture Capital, Siasun Investment, Haihe Industrial Fund, Guozhong Capital, and Yarei Capital have all invested in Atom Robot.

In the field of humanoid robots, Atom Robot has independently developed the “Tianbing-1” humanoid robot, which is the world’s first robot applying parallel structure design in the field of humanoid robots.

“Tianbing-1” is equipped with 37 degrees of freedom all over its body, covering the neck, waist, arms, and chassis. It integrates 8 Arm Cortex-A78AE cores and 1792 NVIDIA CUDA cores, and through the construction of depth cameras, lidar, 12 tactile sensors, and the design of a 6-degree-of-freedom parallel mechanism in the waist and neck, it can achieve high-precision movement in a cylindrical space with a diameter of 200mm. The birth of this robot is precisely to solve the pain points of “large human input and difficult precision operations” in scientific research, industry, commerce and other fields. In the future, it will play a key role in secondary scientific research development, industrial production, and commercial services.
