According to foreign media reports on December 22, the 2026 International Consumer Electronics Show, better known as CES 2026, will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, from January 6 to 9, local time.
As the exhibition draws near, participating manufacturers have started announcing their upcoming new product launches. Hyundai Motor Group has declared that it will showcase its next-generation humanoid robot at the event.
Foreign media reported that Hyundai Motor Group made the announcement on Monday (local time), stating that it will display the next-generation humanoid robot and unveil its AI robot strategy at CES 2026.
Atlas: Next-Gen Robot Developed by Hyundai’s Subsidiary Boston Dynamics
The reports also mentioned that Hyundai Motor Group’s next-generation humanoid robot, named Atlas, is developed by its subsidiary Boston Dynamics. Back in 2020, Hyundai acquired an 80% stake in Boston Dynamics from SoftBank at a valuation of $1.1 billion.
