This event is also one of the docking activities organized by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation to implement the\u00a0Implementation Plan for Innovative Development of the Fine Chemical Industry (2024-2027).<\/p>\n

On July 20, 2025, the Event on Empowering the Development of \u201cSpecialized, Refined, Characteristic, and Novel\u201d Chemical Enterprises with Scientific and Technological Achievements was held in Xining, Qinghai. With the theme of \u201cEmpowering with Science and Technology, Actively Promoting the Construction of an Efficient Utilization Technology System for Salt Lakes\u201d, the event centers on the \u201creal problems\u201d, \u201creal difficulties\u201d, and \u201creal challenges\u201d in salt lake resources. From the perspectives of ensuring agricultural security, sustainable development of new energy materials, and security of key mineral resources, through various forms such as keynote speeches, docking negotiations, and on-site visits to salt lakes, the event aims to address issues including further improving the level of transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, further promoting the application of advanced and applicable technologies, and further strengthening enterprise-led in-depth integration of industry, academia, and research. These efforts are intended to better enhance the competitiveness of enterprises and key industries, improve the resilience and security level of China\u2019s salt lake industrial chain and supply chain, and promote the industrial technology innovation system for the efficient utilization of salt lake resources.<\/p>\n

Nearly 100 participants from relevant departments, enterprises, research institutions, and universities attended the event, including the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, China Salt Lake Industry Group Co., Ltd., Qinghai CITIC Guoan Lithium Industry Development Co., Ltd., China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), Qinghai Institute of Salt Lakes, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanxi University, and Qinghai University. This event is also one of the docking activities of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation to implement the\u00a0Implementation Plan for Innovative Development of the Fine Chemical Industry (2024-2027).<\/p>\n

In 2024, the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology carried out 11 series of activities in Chongqing, Sichuan, Beijing, Hubei, Liaoning, Hunan, Yunnan, Guangdong and other regions, which opened up channels for the docking and transformation of scientific and technological achievements such as intellectual property rights and promoted the implementation and application of a large number of scientific and technological achievements. Since this year, the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has successively held multiple activities in Changsha, Wuhan, Dalian, Nanchong and other places, with active participation from relevant enterprises, universities, research institutions, investment and financing institutions, etc. These activities have helped enterprises understand the trends of scientific and technological development and excellent scientific and technological achievements, accelerated the promotion and application of advanced and applicable technologies, effectively promoted the integration and utilization of local scientific and technological resources and accurate docking of supply and demand, and enhanced the confidence and motivation of enterprises in innovation and entrepreneurship. The Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will continue to build this brand activity, promote the expansion of resource opening, strengthen policy guidance, continuously test and improve the normalized and long-term mechanism of empowering enterprise development with scientific and technological achievements in practice, and collaboratively serve regional innovation and development.<\/p>\n
