Recently, the 9 coating machine technical renovation production line project of Guangdong Guanhao High-tech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Guanhao High-tech”), contracted by Shashi Light Industry Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “our company”), was successfully put into full operation on June 28, 2025! This project is another milestone in the in-depth cooperation between our company and Guanhao High-tech, marking that the cooperation between the two parties in the field of high-end coating equipment and technology has reached a new height.
Project Overview:
Challenges and Innovations Coexist
The core of this technical renovation project is a multi-functional high-speed coating machine with a width of 2000mm and a designed speed of 700mpm. The biggest highlight of the project is the adoption of the innovative mode of “reforming while producing”. This mode minimizes the output loss caused by shutdown and transformation for customers, and puts extreme challenges to our company’s project management, technical integration and on-site construction capabilities.
Faced with the challenges, our project team closely cooperated with Guanhao High-tech, made precise plans and implemented in stages to ensure that both technical transformation and production tasks were carried out smoothly, demonstrating Shashi Light Industry Machinery’s excellent engineering strength and customer-centered service philosophy. It is worth mentioning that in the automatic assembly of key components of the equipment, the 4 – Axis Robotic Vision – Guided Spring Placement System was introduced. Through high-precision visual positioning and robot collaboration, the rapid and accurate installation of the core spring components of the coating machine was realized, which not only guaranteed the assembly accuracy during the transformation, but also provided technical support for efficient construction under the mode of “reforming while producing”.

Through this comprehensive technical upgrade, the production line has achieved a huge leap in performance and compatibility, and now has the ability to stably produce a variety of high-end specialty papers.
In particular, the project successfully completed the production verification of several coated papers in December 2024, laying a solid foundation for the final full-line production. Now, the entire production line is running at full speed, with various performance indicators meeting or exceeding the design expectations, and the product quality is stable and excellent.
