On October 14th, a relevant person in charge of Ningbo Huaxiang revealed that the company’s shipments of full-size bipedal robots will exceed 1,000 units in the second half of this year, and the shipment volume is expected to maintain rapid growth on this basis next year.<\/p>\n

Strategic Layout: Multi-Party Cooperation and Subsidiary Establishment to Deepen Robot Business<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

As early as May this year, Ningbo Huaxiang entered into a strategic cooperation with Xiangshan Industrial Investment and Shanghai Zhiyuan. The three parties plan to strengthen cooperation in areas such as joint venture establishment, robot assembly, supply chain, application scenarios, fund investment, and overseas business expansion, to jointly build an embodied intelligent robot ecosystem.<\/p>\n

In June, Ningbo Huaxiang established a subsidiary named Huaxiang Qiyuan to further deepen the layout of its robot business. In the same month, Huaxiang Qiyuan signed a Contract Manufacturing Agreement with Shanghai Zhiyuan Xinchuang Technology Co., Ltd. Based on the assets, teams, and other resources of both parties, Huaxiang Qiyuan obtained authorization from Shanghai Zhiyuan to produce some of its full-size bipedal robot products within the next three years, so as to meet Shanghai Zhiyuan’s production capacity needs.<\/p>\n

Production Landing: Smart Factories in Operation<\/strong>, “Yuanzheng Series” with Outstanding Performance<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

At the end of July, Ningbo Huaxiang stated on an interactive platform that Huaxiang Qiyuan has undertaken the contract manufacturing of modules and body assemblies for Zhiyuan Robot’s “Yuanzheng Series” and has begun delivering products as planned. It is reported that Ningbo Huaxiang’s smart factory located in Shanghai Lingang started mass production on July 1st, which is mainly responsible for the assembly of joint modules and complete machine assemblies of the full-size bipedal robots under Zhiyuan Robot’s “Yuanzheng Series” and has achieved stable delivery as scheduled.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Ningbo Huaxiang’s Xiangshan Embodied Intelligence Industry Base and Embodied Intelligence Innovation Center have also been put into use, and are committed to data collection, model training, and solution development in multiple vertical scenarios such as industrial logistics and cultural tourism guidance. The base is also exploring the R&D and production of intelligent medical equipment such as biological indicator assembly machine<\/u><\/a>s<\/span>, leveraging its advanced intelligent manufacturing capabilities to expand into the high-precision medical equipment track and enrich its smart product matrix.<\/p>\n

Zhiyuan’s “Yuanzheng Series” was first launched in 2023. The first product, Yuanzheng A1, was officially released in August of that year, and its upgraded version, Yuanzheng A2, was launched in the following year. It is understood that Yuanzheng A2 has a height of 169 cm and a weight of approximately 69 kg, with a built-in 700Wh battery. It can flexibly turn around in a 60 cm-wide space on the spot and has a battery life of up to 2 hours. The robot is equipped with more than 40 active-degree-of-freedom joints and bionic dexterous hands throughout its body.<\/p>\n
