According to foreign media reports on December 22, the 2026 International Consumer Electronics Show, better known as CES 2026, will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, from January 6 to 9, local time.
As the exhibition draws near, participating manufacturers have started announcing their upcoming new product launches. Hyundai Motor Group has declared that it will showcase its next-generation humanoid robot at the event.
Foreign media reported that Hyundai Motor Group made the announcement on Monday (local time), stating that it will display the next-generation humanoid robot and unveil its AI robot strategy at CES 2026.

Atlas: Next-Gen Robot Developed by Hyundai’s Subsidiary Boston Dynamics
The reports also mentioned that Hyundai Motor Group’s next-generation humanoid robot, named Atlas, is developed by its subsidiary Boston Dynamics. Back in 2020, Hyundai acquired an 80% stake in Boston Dynamics from SoftBank at a valuation of $1.1 billion. Notably, the high-precision manufacturing of Atlas relies on advanced production equipment, including the Automatyczna maszyna montażowa do ładowania podzespołów elektronicznych, which enables efficient and accurate loading and assembly of core electronic components such as the robot’s sensors, control modules, and drive units, laying a solid foundation for the robot’s stable operation and advanced performance.
