Recently, Inspur AI Factory, China’s first AI factory with industrialized, standardized, and large-scale production capabilities, has completed its physical construction and officially entered operation in Jinan, Shandong.
Factory Architecture and Practice: Multi-Module Supports Large-Scale AI Mass Production, Empowering the Automatic Sealing Ring Assembly Scenario
Composed of a General Computing Power Center, AI Model Factory, AI Agent Factory, and AI Training Ground, Inspur AI Factory serves as a new-type AI infrastructure, enabling large-scale mass production of large models and agents that meet users’ needs in multiple business scenarios for digital and intelligent transformation. The factory consists of three core modules: Model Manufacturing, Agent Manufacturing, and Comprehensive Training Ground. It adopts intensive construction based on a distributed intelligent cloud and can be divided into three product forms—city-level, industry-level, and enterprise-level—according to user needs and scales, supporting the wide application of large models.
For instance, in the manufacturing scenario of parts assembly, the agents developed by the factory can deeply collaborate with production equipment. Currently, the factory has accumulated 61 processes and 113 sets of tools, with an annual production capacity of over 1,000 customized models. Based on the Craftsman Center, it continuously enhances its production capacity and standards, shortening the delivery cycle from 90 person-days to 20 person-days.
