Recently, the “Party Building + Dual Carbon” Artificial Intelligence Industry Chain Alliance of Beijing Energy Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Beijing Energy Group”) was established to promote the in-depth integration of artificial intelligence technological innovation and industrial innovation under the leadership of Party building. A total of 26 entities, including North China Electric Power University, Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence (BAAI), Cambricon, Kunlun Chip, Beijing Venture Capital, Zhipu AI, Beijing Energy Information, and Beijing Energy Digital Industry, signed agreements to join the Artificial Intelligence Industry Chain Alliance.

It seeks to promote the innovative allocation of production factors, enable artificial intelligence to empower production and operation, foster new business forms and models, and accelerate the development of new productive forces.
The Alliance will unite upstream and downstream enterprises, universities, and research institutions in the industrial chain, covering chip manufacturing, computing power clusters, algorithm research and development, model development, application scenario solutions, and talent training. This will form an integrated industry-university-research-application collaborative innovation system, comprehensively advance artificial intelligence technological innovation, industrial development, and enabling applications, and jointly build an artificial intelligence innovation ecosystem.
As the leading entity of the Artificial Intelligence Industry Chain Alliance, Beijing Energy Group, a state-owned enterprise in the capital, has vigorously promoted the construction of computing power infrastructure. The Beijing Artificial Intelligence Public Computing Power Center, which has been completed and put into operation, provides a solid foundation for the innovative development of artificial intelligence. The main person in charge of Beijing Energy Group stated that it will closely unite upstream and downstream enterprises and entities in the industrial chain to promote resource sharing and complementary advantages, accelerate artificial intelligence technological innovation, industrial development, and enabling applications, and drive the healthy and orderly development of the artificial intelligence industry.
In the future, Beijing Energy Group will deepen cooperation with all parties and focus on three key directions for collaborative efforts. First, it will continue to consolidate the intelligent computing industry ecosystem by building core capabilities of intelligent computing centers, constructing upstream and downstream industrial chains, and expanding vertical application scenarios, thereby creating a full-stack artificial intelligence capability from underlying chip computing power release to top-level applications. Second, it will jointly explore a new “Energy + Computing Power” integrated development model, conduct key technological research in key fields such as smart heating, smart power plants, smart coal mines, and smart elderly care, develop AI models for vertical fields, and strengthen collaborative innovation in computing power, corpus, and energy. Third, it will promote the construction of scenario application bases, provide computing power and algorithm resource services for member entities, help build a number of artificial intelligence industry application bases and demonstration scenarios, and jointly advance the digital transformation of the energy industry.
The Alliance will also take the development of the artificial intelligence industrial chain as a starting point to cultivate and identify talents in practice, provide full-chain support for training top industry talents, and help Beijing build a talent highland in the field of artificial intelligence.
