Yuejiang Unveils the World’s First Home Intelligent Agent Robot

On November 3rd, Yuejiang officially launched Rover X1, the world’s first home intelligent agent robot, priced at 7,499 yuan.

It is reported that Rover X1’s core breakthrough lies in three major technological innovations. The dual-vision tracking system enables Rover X1 to achieve omnidirectional perception and independent decision-making. This system allows the robot to capture ambient environmental data in real-time and make independent decisions, ensuring its mobility in complex home environments. Its all-terrain wheel-leg structure and intelligent load-bearing capacity enable it to cope with daily home environments with ease. Rover X1 can move steadily on smooth indoor floors, outdoor lawns and even small slopes, and is capable of carrying daily items. The self-developed open platform supports flexible switching between multiple roles. This platform enables Rover X1 to be competent in diverse scenarios such as outdoor exploration, home security, programming education and emotional companionship, truly realizing “one machine for multiple purposes”.

Xiaozhi’s Comment: Whether the ambition of “full-scenario application” can cover up the maturity of its technological integration is a crucial question that needs to be addressed beyond its “cost-effectiveness”.

Two Leading Robotaxi Makers See Stock Prices Plummet Below Issuance on Debut

On November 6th, 2025, WeRide-W (00800) and Pony.ai-W0 (02026) entered the capital market through dual listings on the US and Hong Kong stock exchanges. One claims to be “the first Robotaxi stock on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange”, while the other boasts the title of “the world’s largest IPO in the autonomous driving industry in 2025”.

However, even before the listing bell rang, a controversy sparked by Li Xuan, the CFO of WeRide, caused a stir in the capital circle. Reports show that both companies saw their stock prices fall below the issuance price during the gray market trading stage. The gray market price of the former stood at 23.62 Hong Kong dollars, a 12.84% drop from the issuance price of 27.10 Hong Kong dollars. The latter’s gray market price was 123.5 Hong Kong dollars, down 11.15% from its issuance price of 139 Hong Kong dollars. After the market opened, the decline widened further, once reaching 13%.

Xiaozhi’s Comment: The autonomous driving story, stripped of the aura of being “the first stock”, is now facing the capital market’s vote with feet. Commercialization and profitability have become a more harsh test.

Monthly Salary Up to 120,000 Yuan! ByteDance Makes Efforts in Humanoid Robots

On November 5th, the Volcengine team under ByteDance launched a high-level recruitment drive on a job platform. The position is named “Senior Expert in Manipulation Algorithms” with a note of “Embodied Intelligence” attached, and the monthly salary ranges from 95,000 to 120,000 yuan.

According to the job description, the responsibilities of the “Senior Expert in Manipulation Algorithms” include: leading the research and development of manipulation algorithms for humanoid embodied robots, including but not limited to algorithm architecture design, grasping algorithms, VLA model development, and dexterous hand-related research; participating in or guiding the pre-training, post-training SFT, evaluation, and model deployment of large embodied models; promoting the system integration, simulation verification, and hardware deployment of robot manipulation algorithms, and optimizing the performance of control algorithms in embedded systems; exploring the technological application and implementation opportunities of embodied manipulation models in industrial, service, or specific scenarios, identifying key issues, proposing solutions, and delivering highly available schemes to customers. Notably, such embodied manipulation technologies are already empowering industrial automation equipment like fuse assembly machines, enhancing assembly precision and production efficiency in high-precision manufacturing scenarios; participating in the software architecture design and development of the technology stack for robot autonomous systems, as well as data collection technologies required for training control strategies; collaborating closely with team members to jointly solve complex cross-domain technical problems.

              Humanoid Robots

In February this year, CCTV reported that since February, many enterprises such as Unitree Robotics and Ant Group have released recruitment information. The positions cover humanoid robot hardware structure engineers and various algorithm engineers, with monthly salaries ranging from 10,000 to 80,000 yuan.

Xiaozhi’s Comment: Whether the high investment can be quickly transformed into technological breakthroughs remains to be seen based on the feasibility of its technical route.

New Order Worth 320 Million Yuan! Uisee’s Intelligent Cockpit Solution Secures Designation from a World-Renowned Automaker

Recently, Uisee (2431.HK) announced that it has newly obtained project designation notices from joint-venture and luxury brands under a world-renowned automaker. Together with the project designations secured this year, the company will develop and provide a series of advanced intelligent cockpit products for this customer, including solutions such as Driver Monitoring System (DMS), Occupant Monitoring System (OMS), intelligent cockpits, and multi-modal interaction. The total order value of the above-mentioned projects throughout their entire life cycle is expected to be about 320 million yuan, and mass production and delivery are scheduled to start sequentially in early 2026.

This new progress in project designation stems from Uisee’s profound technological accumulation and full-stack independent R&D capabilities in intelligent cockpits and automotive-grade software and hardware integration. It not only marks a significant breakthrough for the company in the intelligent passenger car sector but also verifies its leading competitiveness in integrated intelligent cockpit solutions. Leveraging the customer’s extensive user base and strong brand influence, this order will help Uisee further consolidate its leading position in the intelligent cockpit market and consolidate its cockpit-driving collaboration strategy.

Xiaozhi’s Comment: The differentiated competition is extending from intelligent driving to in-cabin experience, and the professional value of segmented areas in the supply chain is becoming increasingly prominent.

First “Land Aircraft Carrier” Aircraft Rolls Off the Production Line at Xpeng Aeroht’s Flying Car Mass Production Plant

On November 3rd, Xpeng Aeroht announced that its flying car mass production plant located in Huangpu District, Guangzhou, has started trial production and successfully rolled off the first “Land Aircraft Carrier” aircraft. This signifies the commissioning of the world’s first mass production line for flying cars, and it is also the world’s first factory to mass-produce flying cars using modern assembly lines.

According to the official introduction, the factory covers an area of approximately 120,000 square meters and is mainly engaged in the production of aircraft for the detachable “Land Aircraft Carrier” flying car. It has an annual production capacity of 10,000 units at full capacity and an initial annual production capacity of 5,000 units, making it the world’s first mass production plant with an annual capacity of 10,000-unit level. At full capacity, one aircraft can roll off the production line every 30 minutes.

It is reported that the aircraft produced in this trial run will be used for test flights to further verify product performance and craftsmanship, laying a solid foundation for the mass production and delivery of the “Land Aircraft Carrier” next year.

Currently, the mass production process of the “Land Aircraft Carrier” is accelerating at full speed. On March 21st, 2024, Xpeng Aeroht’s application for the Type Certificate (TC) for the aircraft module (codenamed X3-F) of the “Land Aircraft Carrier” flying car was officially accepted by the Civil Aviation Administration of China Southern Regional Administration, indicating that this model is about to enter the airworthiness certification stage.

In terms of orders, official data shows that the “Land Aircraft Carrier” has received nearly 4,000 orders. Among them, at the 15th China Airshow held on November 13th, 2024, Xpeng Motors signed contracts for a total of 2,028 units with 12 bulk-order intention customers. Xpeng Aeroht stated that this is the largest order volume for flying cars globally in the sector to date.
