Pittsburgh (July 15, 2025) \u2014 Emerson (NYSE: EMR), an industrial technology company providing advanced automation solutions, announced the launch of AI-powered Ovation\u2122 Virtual Advisor, the first generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) virtual advisor software integrated into an automation system and specifically designed for the power and water industries. As a new feature of Emerson\u2019s Ovation 4.0 automation platform, this AI-powered virtual advisor software can deliver real-time insights, enhance efficiency, detect abnormalities, predict maintenance problems, and facilitate strategic decision-making.<\/p>\n

Ovation Virtual Advisor embeds localized generative artificial intelligence to provide dynamic system guidance and contextual support. This new solution will leverage natural language interaction to help users quickly access Ovation system documents, perform troubleshooting, proactively address maintenance issues, and identify optimization opportunities. As part of Emerson\u2019s growing suite of AI tools, the system draws on Emerson\u2019s deep expertise in the power and water sectors, laying the foundation for future AI-based insights to optimize process and equipment performance.<\/p>\n
