Advancing Global Innovation and Local Deep Cultivation in Parallel, High-Performance Products Shine at CIIE
At this year’s CIIE, Schneider Electric showcased a series of innovative technologies and products in the field of industrial automation, including both global innovative products and localized R&D achievements, fully meeting the core needs of industrial enterprises for digital-intelligent upgrading.
In terms of global innovative products, the new generation Modicon Edge I/O NTS distributed I/O system, with its rich module combinations and support for multiple bus communication protocols, meets customers’ high-level requirements for industrial I/O applications in performance improvement, efficiency optimization, safety and reliability. The Altivar ATS130, ATS430 and ATS490 soft starter series feature flexibility, ease of use, safety, reliability, green efficiency and other advantages, providing more optimized solutions for the start-up and operation of industrial equipment.
In terms of localized R&D achievements, the new generation “Golden Four-Piece” solution for machine motion control was developed based on the needs of users in the Chinese market, covering the Modicon M310M motion controller, Lexium 18ME servo drive with BEH18 servo motor, Altivar 305 general-purpose inverter, and Harmony ET5 human-machine interface (HMI). This solution improves the equipment response speed by 30% throughout the entire “perception-decision-execution-adjustment” link, flexibly adapts to motion control scenarios in multiple industries, and delivers collaborative efficiency-enhancing value to users.
Schneider Electric also exhibited a variety of hardware products and key components such as relays and switching power supplies. Among them, the Altivar 340 inverter enhances machine energy efficiency with its high torque performance, helping enterprises achieve continuous and stable operation as well as green and low-carbon goals; new products such as the new Modicon ABL2D DIN-rail mounted switching power supply and Harmony XA2A modular pushbutton further enhance system stability under harsh working conditions. In addition, the intelligent card-turning machine integrating the EcoStruxure™ Open Automation Platform (EAE) and AI algorithms made its debut again after the China International Industry Fair (CIIF), demonstrating the potential of EAE-AI integration in improving efficiency and quality in complex industrial production lines.
Cross-Industry Ecological Collaboration to Jointly Promote Industrial Digital Upgrading
In addition to the exhibition of innovative products, Schneider Electric also reached new strategic cooperation intentions with many long-term and new partners at this CIIE, covering process, hybrid and discrete industries, to jointly promote the development of China’s industry.
Oil & Gas, Chemical, Iron & Steel Industries: Schneider Electric signed a cooperation agreement with Nanjing Qiangsi Digital Technology Co., Ltd. The two parties have a long-term cooperative relationship, and this signing will focus on integrating Schneider Electric’s industrial automation and safety products with Qiangsi Digital’s enhanced AIA asset information management platform to create a digital-intelligent safety operation solution for China’s process industry.
Coal Chemical Industry: Schneider Electric signed a cooperation agreement with Shanxi Delixin Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. Focusing on the development needs of the coal chemical industry, the two parties will introduce Schneider Electric’s advanced energy management and automation control products and solutions into new construction and renovation projects in the coking and chemical product sectors.
Chemical New Materials Industry: Schneider Electric signed a cooperation agreement with Arkema (China) Investment Co., Ltd. Under this cooperation, Schneider Electric will create safe and low-carbon digital and electrification solutions for Arkema’s factories in China and globally, and the two parties will work together to build a replicable and promotable new paradigm for industrial supply chains.
Water Treatment Industry: Schneider Electric signed a cooperation agreement with Light (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd. Leveraging Schneider Electric’s comprehensive industrial automation hardware and software solutions, including SCADA information system integration, HMI, industrial PCs, inverters and components, the two parties will create tangible value for domestic and foreign water treatment industry customers.
Marine Industry: Schneider Electric signed a cooperation agreement with Blue Future (Shanghai) Maritime Technology Co., Ltd. Relying on Blue Future’s professional advantages in customizing ship and engineering solutions for non-traditional shipowners, the two parties will deepen collaboration in the R&D of electrical equipment and digital shipbuilding, providing advanced electrification, automation and digital products and solutions for the marine industry.
Packaged Consumer Goods Industry: Schneider Electric signed a cooperation agreement with Beijing Yanjing Brewery Co., Ltd. The two parties will deepen cooperation in electrification, automation and digital solutions. Leveraging Schneider Electric’s industry expertise and comprehensive solutions and services “from hardware to software, from consulting to implementation, from automation to digitalization”, they will help Yanjing Brewery optimize production operations and achieve cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
In addition, Schneider Electric signed a cooperation agreement with Jiangsu Jieshun Electromechanical Engineering Co., Ltd. The two parties will focus on HVAC automation and digital engineering, creating a “clean + digital” dual-driven new paradigm for the life sciences industry. Notably, targeting the high-precision production needs of medical catheters, Schneider’s motion control systems and EcoStruxure platform also empower catheter assembly machines, ensuring sterile assembly, micron-level dimensional accuracy and full-process compliance traceability to build smart pharmaceuticals that balance compliance and efficiency.
Meanwhile, Schneider Electric signed a cooperation agreement with Shanghai Dayi Electromechanical Engineering Co., Ltd. The two parties will focus on the pharmaceutical and food & beverage industries, deploy ProLeiT process control solutions for industry customers, advance the digital construction of enterprise middle platforms and manufacturing execution systems (MES), and implement the EcoStruxure Open Automation Platform (EAE), working together to help industry customers achieve digital-intelligent upgrading.
Deeply Participating in Industry Exchanges to Jointly Explore Paths for Industrial Sustainable Development
Beyond signed cooperation, Schneider Electric also actively participated in industry exchange activities at this CIIE.
