In terms of adaptability<\/span><\/strong>, CATL\u2019s sodium-ion battery pack is highly compatible with No. 20 and No. 25 standard packs\/swap packs, making it directly applicable to all vehicle models designed with standard packs or swap packs. This eliminates the need for automakers to make large-scale modifications to existing models, lowering the threshold for cooperation implementation.<\/p>\n

It is understood that the \u201cfull temperature range\u201d capability of CATL\u2019s NaXin battery<\/span><\/strong>, launched in April this year, has been verified through multiple rounds of testing, capable of handling complex environmental conditions from extreme cold to high temperatures.<\/p>\n

On September 8, CATL announced another breakthrough<\/span><\/strong>: its independently developed NaXin battery officially passed the \u201cSafety Requirements for Power Batteries for Electric Vehicles\u201d (GB38031-2025) certification, becoming the world\u2019s first sodium-ion power battery to obtain this new national standard certification. This certification not only confirms that NaXin batteries meet the highest safety standards in the industry but also clears the compliance obstacles for their large-scale entry into the passenger vehicle market, further promoting the adoption of new energy vehicles in cold regions such as Northeast and Northwest China.<\/p>\n
