January 11 News – According to CCTV Finance, as one of the world’s most influential tech events, the 2026 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, USA, featured a concentrated display of cutting-edge technologies in the smart home sector, with a focus on household cleaning devices.
Among the exhibits, a number of new robot vacuum models integrated with artificial intelligence made their debut. Several new products launched by Chinese companies are now “equipped with movable components, capable of aerial operations, and empowered with intelligent decision-making”.
These robot vacuums boast core technical capabilities such as perception, decision-making, and execution, demonstrating the in-depth application of embodied intelligence in household scenarios. Products from China claimed the spotlight at this year’s exhibition.
CCTV Finance pointed out that whether at the forefront of technology exhibitions or in retail stores across Europe and Southeast Asia thousands of miles away, Chinese robot vacuums are emerging as a top choice for global consumers.
Data shows that in the first three quarters of 2025, the cumulative global shipment volume of smart robot vacuums reached 17.424 million units, representing a year-on-year increase of 18.7%.
Chinese brands Roborock, Ecovacs, Dreame, Xiaomi, and Narwal secured the top five spots in global shipments, accounting for nearly 70% of the total global market share combined.
Cai Ling, Director of Global Home Appliances China Strategic Clients at NIQ-GfK, stated that the strong performance of Chinese brands is mainly attributed to China’s robust supply chain advantages.
In the robot vacuum segment, Chinese manufacturers exhibit exceptional innovation capabilities and rapid technology iteration, outpacing overseas markets by basically one to two generations. At present, technological innovation has evolved from functional upgrades to the direction of embodied intelligence.
