At the start of the new year, LONGi Hydrogen Energy successfully delivered its first electrolyzer system for water electrolysis in Europe. The delivered equipment consists of a 5MW alkaline water electrolysis hydrogen production system. Tailored to the application demands of the European market, the project has been systematically and forward-looking configured across product compliance, engineering design, and delivery service sectors. This delivery marks a critical step for LONGi Hydrogen Energy from market layout to practical implementation in Europe, leveraging verifiable engineering equipment capabilities to support Europe’s real-world needs for green transition.

The equipment is strictly manufactured in accordance with CE standards. The electrolyzer adopts ASME design specifications and has obtained CE PED certification, meeting European regulations and engineering application requirements in key dimensions such as structural safety, pressure-bearing systems, and manufacturing quality, laying a solid foundation for the long-term stable operation of the project.

 

The design principles of key systems and material selection refer to industry standards such as EIGA. Through multiple rounds of communication and full verification with the user’s technical team, the system’s safety, reliability, and long-term maintainability in European application scenarios are guaranteed.

In terms of overall layout, maintenance and operation paths are fully considered, necessary working space is reserved to enhance the convenience of daily inspection and maintenance, and corresponding engineering support conditions are set for key maintenance operations to shorten maintenance time and reduce the complexity of on-site work.

 

At the same time, for potential risk conditions such as high temperatures, safety protection and shielding designs are introduced in relevant systems and parts to reduce safety risks during operation and maintenance. The overall solution not only meets European maintenance specifications and ergonomic requirements but also balances maintenance efficiency and personnel safety, providing strong support for the long-term stable and reliable operation of the equipment.
