Guide: At the International Cooperation Forum on Artificial Intelligence Standardization of the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, the “Global Guidelines for Industrial Artificial Intelligence” was officially released, aiming to establish unified global standards and promote the intelligent transformation of the manufacturing industry.
On the afternoon of July 26, led by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization and the Global Excellence Center for Industrial AI Alliance, and jointly organized by the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, Shanghai Electric, China Unicom, Siemens and other authoritative enterprises and institutions in the industry, the “Global Guidelines for Industrial Artificial Intelligence” (hereinafter referred to as the “Guidelines”) was officially released at the International Cooperation Forum on Artificial Intelligence Standardization of the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. The Guidelines aim to establish unified global standards and promote the intelligent transformation of the manufacturing industry.
The Guidelines focus on global industrial artificial intelligence, covering the application of AI technology in multiple links of industry and manufacturing, such as strategic planning, supply chain management, product design, process optimization, and production scheduling, as well as its enabling role in improving production efficiency, equipment maintenance, and quality control. In addition, the Guidelines also involve technical architectures such as digital twins, edge computing platforms, data management, and AI system integration to ensure the in-depth integration of artificial intelligence and industrial manufacturing.
It is understood that the Guidelines will be released on platforms such as the United Nations Industrial Development Organization in the future, and member states and international organizations are called on to actively promote the application of this standard in the industry. More global enterprises are welcome to participate, so as to provide standard guidance for the global application of industrial artificial intelligence.
