2025 H1 Work Conference on Stabilizing Growth of the City’s Software and Information Industry Held<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

On August 13<\/strong><\/span>, the work conference on stabilizing the growth of the city’s software and information industry in the first half of 2025 was held. The conference thoroughly implemented the instructions of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government on stabilizing the growth of the software and information industry, summarized the industrial operation and work progress in the first half of the year, and clarified the next work plan for stabilizing growth in combination with the opportunities and challenges faced by the current industrial development. Ge Dongbo, Deputy Director of the Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, attended the conference and put forward relevant requirements.<\/p>\n

H1 Industrial Performance: Impressive Results Amid Growth Pressures<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The conference pointed out that from January to June, the city’s software and information industry delivered an impressive “report card”. Its added value accounted for 13.9% of the city’s GDP, an increase of 2.6 percentage points compared with the same period last year, firmly securing the top three position in the city. However, from the perspective of internal and external development environment, stabilizing growth still faces some difficulties, which require joint efforts to overcome.<\/p>\n

Growth-Stabilizing Measures: Driving Industrial Development Through Targeted Services<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

First,<\/span><\/strong> we should promote growth through practical services. We must adhere to a problem-oriented approach, focus on enterprise demands, extend the “one enterprise, one policy”mechanism to potential enterprises, and give full play to the urban-rural linkage mechanism to fully integrate urban and district resources. We should implement “list-based management and account cancellation \u00a0cancellation system” for problems to avoid “individual combat” and “policy idling”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Third<\/span><\/strong>, we should consolidate the foundation through accurate investigation. We should align with statistical standards, fully integrate relevant data, establish a “cultivation database” for enterprises to be included in statistics, and ensure that all eligible enterprises are included in statistics; we should conduct advance investigation and layout to promote key enterprises to “increase more and decrease less”.<\/p>\n
