On August 22, 2025, the China Power Supply Society officially released 14 group standards for the 2025 fiscal year. Since the first release of 8 group standards in 2018, the society has continuously advanced the construction of the industry’s standardization system, and this release marks another important progress in this work. Up to now, the China Power Supply Society has released a total of 92 group standards.
In accordance with the Deepening the Reform Plan of Standardization Work and relevant policy spirits, as well as the China Power Supply Society Group Standard Management Measures, the society has launched the group standard formulation work since 2016. It insists on organizing the project approval and development of a new batch of standards every year, continuously improving the standard system of the power supply industry.
In September 2023, the society initiated the 8th batch of group standard plans; in May 2024, a total of 18 standards were officially approved for project approval. From March to June 2025, the society organized phased review meetings combining offline and online formats, conducting centralized review on 17 group standard draft manuscripts—including 16 standards approved in 2024 and 1 standard approved in 2023 with delayed submission.
After strict review, 14 group standards were finally approved. Following subsequent links such as revision and improvement, format standardization, and approval for filing, they were officially released on August 22, 2025. This batch of standards focuses on a number of core technologies and key points of testing and evaluation: they not only set advanced technical benchmarks for the industry, but also accurately fill gaps in the development of relevant fields, providing solid technical support for promoting the entire power supply industry to enter a new stage of standardized and high-quality development. Looking ahead, the China Power Supply Society will further accelerate the construction of an advanced standard system, fully demonstrate its leading role in the industry, and take high standards as a starting point to continuously inject new vitality and open up new space for the high-quality development of the power supply industry.
