During the exhibition, Ziguang Tongxin officially launched its next-generation eSIM chip — THC9E.
According to Ziguang Tongxin, the THC9E innovatively integrates authentication capabilities of both terrestrial operator networks and satellite networks into a single chip, achieving seamless global connectivity and helping users stay “always connected, always intelligent” in the AI era.
In terms of performance, the THC9E delivers leapfrog upgrades across multiple dimensions, with lower power consumption and faster activation speed.
The chip adopts a brand-new power architecture design, supporting a 1.2V single power supply, and is compatible with mainstream mobile phone main chip platforms for the next 3–5 years.
Compared with the previous generation, its sleep power consumption is greatly reduced, helping extend the battery life of terminal devices.
The CPU frequency, NVM erasing/writing performance, and encryption algorithm performance of the THC9E have all been comprehensively improved.
On the premise of ensuring security, the speed of operator number download and activation has increased by 54% compared with the previous generation, significantly shortening service provisioning time.
In addition, the chip’s NVM and RAM capacities have been significantly increased. It supports all mainstream cryptographic algorithms and can simultaneously meet the needs of multiple scenarios such as mobile SE, satellite Internet, and multi-application eSIM, providing key support for the integrated multi-scenario development of eSIM.
