On March 10, Orbbec Inc. (Stock Code: 688322.SH) announced that its application for the issuance of A-shares to specific targets in 2025 had been approved for registration by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC Approval Document [2026] No. 394). This marks the official launch of the private placement financing plan. The company will further focus on its core business, increase investment in R&D and capacity expansion in the AI vision sensor sector, and consolidate its leading position in the industry.
According to the approval document, the CSRC has granted registration for the share issuance. The offering shall be implemented strictly in accordance with the application documents and issuance plan submitted to the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The approval is valid for 12 months from the date of registration.
The private placement plans to issue no more than 120 million A-shares, with a total intended fundraising of no more than 980 million yuan. After deducting issuance expenses, all funds will be invested in two key projects:
Robotic AI Vision and Spatial Perception Technology R&D Platform
AI Vision Sensor and Intelligent Hardware Manufacturing Base
